LG Innotek has delivered a stellar financial performance for the first quarter of 2026, setting a new revenue record for the period. The company announced that its revenue increased by 11 percent year on year to reach 5.5348 trillion Korean won. Even more impressive was the operating profit, which surged by approximately 2.4 times compared to the same period last year, climbing to 295.3 billion Korean won. This remarkable growth was primarily driven by sustained solid demand for mobile camera modules and an expanded supply of high-value-added semiconductor package substrates.
Looking into the performance of individual business units, the Package Solution division reported a 16 percent increase in revenue, totaling 437.1 billion Korean won. Within this sector, semiconductor package substrates accounted for 68 percent of the division's total revenue, representing a 4 percentage point increase compared to the previous year. This growth highlights the increasing market demand for advanced substrates used in high-performance computing and mobile applications. Concurrently, the Optics Solution division saw its revenue grow by 11 percent year on year to 4.6106 trillion Korean won, marking a historic high for the first quarter, fueled by the stable supply of high-specification smartphone camera components.
