ASML Forecasts 20% Revenue Surge by 2026 Following Record Orders

ASML, the global leader in lithography systems, has significantly raised its financial outlook for 2026, projecting total revenue between 34 billion and 39 billion Euros. This optimistic adjustment reflects a potential 20 percent increase in annual growth, driven by an extraordinary surge in orders during the final quarter of the previous year. Market sentiment has improved drastically over the past few months, positioning ASML at the heart of the next semiconductor super-cycle.

The primary driver for this growth is the Extreme Ultraviolet lithography segment. Demand for Extreme Ultraviolet systems is skyrocketing as chipmakers scale up production for advanced logic gates and Dynamic Random Access Memory chips. While Deep Ultraviolet and other non-Extreme Ultraviolet systems are expected to maintain steady performance, the shift toward sub-two-nanometer nodes is making ASML’s high-end equipment indispensable.

Furthermore, the company anticipates a major expansion in its holistic lithography portfolio, specifically within metrology and inspection systems. As chip complexity increases, the industry is shifting focus toward rigorous process control to maintain yields.
