SK hynix has officially reported its financial results for the fiscal year 2025, marking the most successful year in the company's history. The semiconductor giant achieved an annual revenue of ninety-seven point one five trillion Korean Won, representing a forty-seven percent increase from the previous year. More impressively, the operating profit soared to forty-seven point two trillion Korean Won, effectively doubling compared to 2024.
The primary engine behind this extraordinary growth is the surging demand for High Bandwidth Memory, commonly known as HBM. Sales for HBM products more than doubled year on year, particularly fueled by the rapid adoption of HBM three E twelve high configurations in artificial intelligence servers. As the industry transitions from artificial intelligence training to inference, the need for high performance memory has become more critical than ever.
In the Dynamic Random Access Memory segment, SK hynix successfully commenced mass production of ten nanometer class DDR five modules. The company also developed the industry's largest capacity two hundred and fifty-six gigabyte Registered Dual In-line Memory Module, further solidifying its leadership in the server market.
The NAND Flash business also reached record high annual revenue. While the first half of the year saw sluggish demand, the second half experienced a dramatic turnaround driven by Enterprise Solid State Drives. These high density storage solutions are essential for the expanding infrastructure of global data centers.
Financially, SK hynix has significantly strengthened its position, achieving a net cash status with a debt ratio falling to eighteen percent. Looking forward, the company is preparing for the next generation of artificial intelligence memory by advancing the production of HBM four to meet growing customer requirements.
